Note Drift Pro
Notes I write before they drift off the edge of the day. — drift being the operative word.
This is a personal blog — mine, Elise's — kept at notedriftpro.life from a flat in Bedok. It is not a product, a service, or a brand in the loud sense. It is a shelf of notes I did not want to lose to the hour after midnight, when the city softens and my window catches the corridor light from the block opposite. I write about walks I take, habits I am trying to keep honest, and the small textures of living in Singapore: kopi at the kopitiam, the void deck at dusk, the MRT when most people are elsewhere. If you have found your way here, you are welcome to read slowly. Nothing on this site asks you to perform enthusiasm. It only asks for a little attention, and even that is optional.
The front page is not the archive. The newest long note sits at the root — index.php — and the rest live as separate pages you can reach from the archive or the list below. Each note has a date because I like dates; they anchor memory without pretending to explain it. Some notes are from 2025, some from 2026; I do not publish on a schedule that would make sense to anyone except me. The writing is mostly past tense, except where present tense felt necessary — as it did for one evening on Chin Swee Road. I do not write to teach. I write because the sentence is the only habit that consistently returns my attention to what is in front of me.
